•Crane and Equipment Inspection: Verifying the capacity and condition of the vessel’s cranes, bell slings, and chains to ensure suitability for handling the cargo.

•Synchronization of Loading/Discharging Activities: Facilitating communication between all parties involved to ensure smooth and synchronized loading or discharging operations.
•Loading Inspection and Supervision: Overseeing the loading process to ensure proper handling, stowage, and safety of the cargo.
•Stowage Plan Documentation: Witnessing and documenting the position of packages in the stowage plan to ensure accurate records.
•Tallying of Cargo: Counting and verifying the quantity of packages being loaded or discharged.
•Lashing and Securing Supervision: Witnessing and supervising the lashing and securing of supercargo or heavy lift packages to prevent damage or loss during transit.
•Consultation for Stowage: Providing expert advice to the Port Captain, Vessel’s Master, and Chief Officer on the proper stowage of supercargo/heavy lift packages during loading.
•Consultation for Lashing: Offering guidance on the lashing techniques and materials required to secure the cargo effectively.
•Incident/Defect Reporting: Writing and reporting any defects or incidents related to supercargo/heavy lift during loading, with detailed documentation for future reference.
•Incident/Accident Report Issuance: Preparing and issuing formal incident/accident reports for supercargo/heavy lift operations, signed by the Master and relevant parties.
